All Compulink manufactured antenna and access point extension cables, military coaxial assemblies and RF cable assemblies are 100% tested and inspected prior to shipment. A continuity test for opens and shorts is conducted as well as visual and mechanical inspection for length, label information and workmanship. Our quality control instructions including destructive pull tests monitor our manufacturing processes and procedures ensuring the highest quality product.

Compulink provides the stringent level of performance testing required for RF cable assemblies used in critical applications. We offer comprehensive test solutions based upon your unique system requirement. Complete measurement solutions ranging from 40MHz to 40GHz are available with our Anritsu Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). The Anritsu is a fully functioning VNA for making passive device measurements and we are fully stocked with calibration kits and adapters for your unique RF application.

Low – Passive Intermodulation (PIM) Testing for Wireless Applications

Compulink utilizes a Kaelus model #SI-1900E PIM tester to analyze and validate the transmission performance of all Low – PIM cable assemblies prior to shipment. Passive intermodulation (PIM) is a problem that can occur when multiple RF signals are impacted by poor workmanship or defective materials in the RF path. The problems associated with poor workmanship or defective materials in cable assemblies for wireless applications can lead to slowed system performance or a high number of dropped and blocked calls.

Our rack mounted PIM test solution includes a transceiver module, front end filter; system controller and associated software to 100% test all Low – PIM coaxial cable assemblies for transmission performance. This IEC compliant test equipment verifies the quality and workmanship of all Low – PIM cable assemblies for critical wireless applications.

The Kaelus PIM analyzer can perform both forward and reverse PIM measurements in the 700, 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and 2100 MHz frequency bands. Low –PIM cables including custom lengths and configurations (N connector male, N connector female and 7 / 16 connector for wireless applications) are available for
rapid deployment to your job site.
