2008 Laserfiche Institute Conference Recap

The 2008 Laserfiche Institute Conference was our largest ever, with nearly a thousand attendees and more than eighty classes, presentations and hands-on labs. The conference also marked the launch of Laserfiche 8™, and sessions devoted to its new features were filled to capacity.

The theme of this year’s conference was “Power Up and Get Connected,” and Laserfiche users had numerous opportunities to network with each other, share best practices and discuss solutions to common problems. For example, in addition to a line-up of classes that covered everything from project planning to systems integration, the conference featured numerous user presentations, where people explained how their organization uses Laserfiche to optimize workflow, eliminate redundancy and cut costs. Each of these sessions was followed by a lively Q and A session, as audience members joined the presenter in discussing how other organizations could realize the same success.

We’d like to thank everyone who joined us this year and who helped make the 2008 conference so successful. If you couldn’t attend this year, we hope you’ll join us in 2009, when the Laserfiche community gathers once again to power up for the year ahead.
