Quality Director

The Quality Director is responsible for establishing/maintaining a corporate quality assurance system and team that promotes customer satisfaction and that positively impacts the financial performance. Champion continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives to establish an effective Quality Management System (QMS); initiate and implement quality improvement activities as appropriate to raise the performance of the company’s product lines. Educate and train employees as to their impact in the quality management system.  Direct supervision of quality assurance employees in all manufacturing facilities.

10+ years experience in QA systems implementation and management of a manufacturing environment is required.  Experience with manufacturing and quality requirements for cable assemblies/wire harnesses for military applications desired.  Experience/ability to interpret DoD and other military specifications related to components of cable assembly/wire harness manufacturing.  Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.  Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation.  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Strong computer skills including quality control applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

Project Engineer

Organize and manage all engineering efforts in support of designated major OEM accounts, including but not limited to bidding/estimating support, first article build and process development, tooling design, manufacturing method design and development.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain engineering ownership of designated OEM accounts
• Work closely with the Sales department to review customer technical specifications, and evaluate drawings, schematics, bill of materials and contracts to assess production viability
• Evaluate RFQ’s and provide labor and material estimates 
• Provide direct Engineering services for drawings, schematics, Bill of Materials, and processes where required.
• Evaluate and specify materials and processes to meet customer requirements
• Determine methods, fixtures and tooling required for new projects.
• Oversee and direct the build of first article, sample, and prototype units in support of customer programs.
• Provide production support activities for designated OEM accounts
• Other engineering duties as needed.

• BSME, BSIE, BSEE or BS in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a high volume production facility.
• Experience with cable and harness manufacturing and design highly preferred.

 Skills & Abilities:
• Experience with military contractor manufacturing processes and specifications
• Familiarity with connector, wire, and cable specifications, both military and commercial
• Ability to read and evaluate blueprints, schematics, and production instructions
• Ability to research, collect, and interpret technical data
• Strong intrapersonal skills to interact with other production and sales departments
• Strong managerial skills to work within tight schedule and cost constraints

Work Environment: 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position is a technical and sales position with the primary goal to meet or exceed customer requirements while maintaining acceptable profit margins on revenues. The CSR is the direct link between CompuLink and CompuLinks customers. The CSR is responsible for maintaining a professional manner during all contacts with customers and co-workers.

 Primary Duties:
• Determine price and exercise independent judgement.
• Verify material availability and lead times of raw material through our purchasing department.
• Enter customers purchase orders in our database, and alert purchasing to immediate material requirements.
• Verify lead times with our production department.
• Recommend and implement solutions to problems that arise as relates to customer requirements.
• Escalate critical issues to team leaders and appropriate management personnel.
• Communicate closely with the CompuLink outside sale team, keeping them informed of important customer activity.
• Create legible assembly prints, and maintain customer files in an ordering manner.
• Initiate and complete ECOs on prints where required.

• Working knowledge of Open Systems application.
• CSR should have an excellent working knowledge of assembly procedures in practice today.
• Must perform effectively in a diverse customer driven environment to meet stringent deadlines.
• The CSR will handle telecommunication and electronic correspondence with the customers regarding pricing and ordering details.
• Assist order management specialists (OMS) in addressing any questions that arise within purchasing, production, or quality dept. as relates to customer’s requirements.
• The CSR works closely with purchasing, production, engineering and quality departments in the process of researching costs and preparing quotes.
• Maintain a professional, positive demeanor at all times, especially under difficult circumstances.

 Working Environment:
• Lift and carry 15 pounds (with assistance if necessary)
• Intermittent sitting, standing and walking in office and production areas
• Moderate to extended time at computer keyboard, sitting, leaning and bending.
• Minimum noise level in typical office environment.
• Fast paced schedule conscious work environment.


New Business Development-Account Executive Cable & Harness Assembly

Independently research, target and call on new opportunities nationwide based upon Compulink’s core competency in military and commercial cable and harness assembly.

 Primary Duties:
• Must be able to identify, penetrate and close new business opportunities.
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and to be self-motivated &              self-directed.
• Primary focus is to target and drive new business development to defense contractors and large original    equipment manufacturers nationwide.
• Set up, attend and promote CompuLink cable and harness assembly through industry specific trade shows.
• Strong group presentation skills are required. Must be able to present and differentiate the corporation in    regard to quality, engineering, production and technical capabilities.
• Technical aptitude in connectors, cable, molding, or sales experience in electronic contract manufacturing          is required.
• Knowledge of cable and harness assembly market and associated customer base is a plus.
• Candidate must possess the ability to travel nationwide on a regular basis.
• Compensation includes a base salary plus commission commensurate with experience.
